Floral Quilted Collarless Button Jacket

A lightly padded jacket covered in a two-tone floral that mixes larger blooms on the body with a smaller ditsy print inside, so the reverse of the placket reads like a lining. Cream binding traces the collarless V neckline, the button placket, the patch pockets and the cuffs, giving the whole piece a hand-finished, quilt-coat feel. The body is boxy and the sleeves fall long, leaving room for a shirt or fine knit underneath. It works over jeans on a cool morning and just as easily over a slip dress at night.
