A short satin dress with a gathered bandeau bust that twists into a knot at the centre, leaving a small keyhole cutout just beneath it. Fine adjustable straps hold the shape, and the empire seam releases the skirt into a full circle that lifts and falls as you move. The satin has a soft sheen rather than a hard shine, so it catches light without looking stiff. Cut well above the knee, it needs nothing more than strappy heels and a small clutch.
