Patchwork Print Quilted Belted Vest

Squares of mismatched floral, paisley and gingham prints are pieced together across this quilted vest, so no two panels read the same way. A self-tie sash cinches the waist and can be knotted at the front or looped behind for a looser shape, while the open collarless front and cap shoulders leave plenty of room for a blouse or a puff-sleeve knit underneath. Light padding gives the layer body without much weight. Wear it over denim shorts and a tee in early autumn, or with wide trousers when it turns cool. Print placement varies, so each one is a little different.
