Patchwork Floral Cable Knit Sweater

Built like a sampler blanket: squares of cable, seed stitch, tiny triangles, stripes and big outlined daisies are set side by side across the body and sleeves in cream and inky black. The knit is chunky and the shape is generously oversized, with a wide round neck, dropped shoulders and long sleeves that swallow the wrist. It hangs straight to the hip so it works over shorts in early autumn and over slim jeans once it turns cold. One of those sweaters that gets picked up and worn far more often than the plain ones.
