Openwork Butterfly Acetate Claw Clip

Cut from thick acetate and hollowed right through, this clip traces a butterfly outline in a single flowing line, with a metal bar running along the centre for strength. The material has the marbled depth you expect from good spectacle frames, and the colour run covers tortoise, pearlised cream, ink blue and warm caramel. Because so much of the shape is cut away it stays light on the head while the long jaw still grips a full twist. Wear it high for a sculptural bun or low for a soft chignon.
