Frayed Edge Oversized Denim Vest

Borrowed from a boyfriend jacket and cut loose enough to layer over almost anything. The armholes are dropped low and finished raw, so the frayed edges soften a little more with every wash, and the same distressing runs along the collar and shoulder line. A full button placket, two flap chest pockets and deep welt pockets at the hip keep the workwear detailing intact, while a faded wash gives the denim a worn in depth rather than a flat new finish. Throw it over a long sleeve tee and shorts, or wear it open across a slip dress once the evening cools.
