Fluted Heart Drop Stud Earrings

A faceted dark stone in a small claw setting sits at the lobe and carries a heart-shaped drop below it, ribbed with fine radiating pleats that fan out towards the point. The pleating gives the metal real movement in light without needing extra stones. At just over two centimetres they are substantial enough to notice but still light on the ear. They work with a plain crew neck, where the shape has room to read, or with hair tucked behind the ear.
