Flat Top Ribbon Band Straw Boater Hat

A classic boater shape with a flat crown and a wide, evenly woven brim that throws real shade across the face and shoulders. Around the base sits a soft ribbon band, tied and gathered at one side, in either a crisp dark tone or a pale ivory that melts into the straw. The papyrus straw is tightly plaited but still light, so it stays comfortable through a long lunch outdoors. The brim measures about thirty five centimetres across, which is generous enough to matter on a beach without becoming unwieldy. It travels well with linen, swimwear and a long sundress.
