Drawstring Waist Maxi Skirt Raw Hem

A long, easy skirt with none of the fuss of a zip. The waistband is fully elasticated and threaded with a contrast tie you can knot at the front, so it pulls on and adjusts in a second. From there the fabric falls in soft vertical folds into a wide sweep that finishes just above the ankle, with the hem left raw for a slightly undone, sun-bleached feel. The washed surface has a faded, lived-in cast that suits sandals and a plain tank in summer, or boots and a chunky knit later in the year.
