Cropped Rib Knit Bolero Shrug Cardigan

Cut right down to the essentials, this bolero is little more than two long ribbed sleeves joined by a band across the shoulders and upper back. It stops well above the bust at the front, so it frames whatever you wear underneath rather than covering it, and it hangs open with no fastenings at all. The sleeves are generously long and slightly full, gathering at the wrist where the rib pulls in. Throw it over a slip dress, a corset top or a plain vest when a room turns cold.
