Panels of contrast fabric are pieced across the hips and down the legs, with slim racing stripes running along one side for a sporty, cut-and-shut look. The waist is fully elasticated and ties with a flat drawstring, so they pull on like joggers but read as denim. From there the leg falls wide and straight to the floor, long enough to break over a trainer. Faded washes keep the panels from looking too new. Wear them with a cropped top and let the trousers do the talking.
